The 1st anniversary of the establishment of Expert Committee of China Performing Arts Equipment Technology Association Fifth (Shanghai) Branch, The seminar "DIGITAL AUDIO Network Solutions" jointly organized by Shanghai Branch and Shanghai China-America Asia Electro-acoustic Equipment Co., LTD was held perfectly in Shanghai China-America Asia Digital Audio Experience GALLERY on November 30, 2017. This seminar is an important stop of the series of lectures on lighting and sound technology hosted by Shanghai Branch. The purpose of this series of lectures is to build an exchange platform of art and technology based on the principle of joint construction, sharing, win-win and common prosperity, lead the deep integration of art and technology with practice, create deep innovative thinking, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of performing arts.

The chill of early winter could not stop the enthusiasm of the industry event, all industry experts and guests gathered together in a very warm atmosphere to attend this seminar in Shanghai Zhongmei Asia Company. First of all, Mr. Zhou Chunzhi, Vice chairman of China Performing Arts Equipment Technology Association and president of the Fifth (Shanghai) Branch, made a speech on behalf of the association. President Zhou's speech summarized the keynote and far-reaching significance of this seminar, and also thanked China, America and Asia for their strong support for the activity on behalf of the Association. Ms. Chen Zhong, executive director of Shanghai Sino-American Asia Company, delivered a warm speech on behalf of Sino-American Asia Company. In this seminar, Mr. David Kan, who is responsible for sales in Asia of Cadac, gave a lecture on the introduction of Cadac digital audio network solutions and the operation of Cadac digital sound console. Mr. David explained in detail the application scheme and design concept of Cadac digital audio network system in Britain, and summarized several characteristics of Cadac digital audio system in Britain:

● Innovative user interface;

● The system adopts 96kHz sampling frequency;

● The delay from system input to system output is only 0.4 ms;

● Audio network and input and output channels can be freely and flexibly configured and expanded by exclusive software, up to 3072 channels can be supported;

● Built-in WAVES card and compatible with WAVES plug-in;

● Secure redundant backup system.

Mr. David also took Cadac CDC6 series mixer as an example to introduce the operation process and characteristics of Cadac digital mixer. The simple and easy to learn, intuitive and clear operation technology and user interface of Cadac are fully demonstrated through the demonstration.

      In the second half of the seminar, Mr. Jiang Yang, Director of Cadac Operations, reviewed the legendary history of Cadac in the UK and the existing major product lines, and shared many famous engineering applications of Cadac.
