Studio No. 1 of the China Media Group is the official studio for the Spring Festival Gala of the Group, and the studio is also responsible for the recording of almost all the large-scale variety shows of the Group. The Cadac mixer helps restore the wonderful presentation of live sound effects of the program.

The studio is a cylinder with a diameter of 50 meters and a center height of 30 meters covered with a glass roof with curved ball joints. It has a volume of about 58,800 cubic meters, an internal surface area of 4,700 square meters, an area of 1,600 square meters, and about 1,000 audience seats.

During the 25 years from 1998 to 2022, the annual Spring Festival Gala has witnessed numerous revelry at the No. 1 studio of the China Media Group.
