The Barbican Centre in London is one of the three major music venues in London. It has been open to the public since 1982, and Queen Elizabeth has praised it as "a wonder of the modern world". Located in the heart of London, it is the largest multimedia arts center in Europe. The Barbican Hall is home to the famous London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Symphony Orchestra, and was once home to the Royal Shakespeare Company in London.
